1. How do I decide what size to choose?
Our most popular size is 360mm*260mm because it not only fits the most common laptop size of 15.4” but also can be used on 17” without trimming and all sizes laptops with slight trimming.
Choosing the correct size of 3Tops laptop skins for your laptop is easy. Just follow one of the options above and you’ll be ready to start sticking.
1) Choose your 3Tops laptop skin by the size of laptop you have. (Please check the size list above)
2) Measure the top of your laptop and choose the appropriate size based on the fit you would like.
If your laptop is an uncommon size, a larger 3Tops laptop skin can be wrapped over its edges or a smaller 3Tops laptop skin will leave a border.

3) Note that you can always trim a larger 3Tops laptop skin to fit a particular laptop.

2. I can't find my size laptop on the laptop sizing chart. What size should I choose?
We custom trim to fit laptop of any size at no additional charge. Just select "Custom Size” from the drop down and enter the exact dimensions you'd like in the notes or special instructions section on the product pages. We'll custom trim your laptop to your exact specifications. Also you can choose the Size B, than trim by yourself.
3. What are 3Tops laptop skins and what are they made of?
3Tops laptop skins are made of specially developed PVC, Vinyl, or PP film with an amazing removable reusable adhesive on the back which designed to be removable without leaving any sticky goo behind. It’s truly amazing! They are also designed to lay over any beveled logo and although it may appear slightly raised in the middle it should lay over it without any problem.
4. How do you stick 3Tops laptop skins?
3Tops laptop skins are super easy to stick and instructions for application are on the back of the labels. They are going on very similarly for a normal sticker, but they are removable, if you make a mistake, simply remove your 3Tops laptop skin and start again.
5. Are 3Tops laptop skins removable and reusable?
Removing a 3Tops laptop skin is super easy. Simply make sure your laptop is closed and then start pull up the 3Tops laptop skin from one side. The removable adhesive is amazing and makes them a cinch to remove.
6. How durable are 3Tops laptop skins?
3Tops laptop skins are designed not only to look great but also protect the top of your laptop. All 3Tops laptop skins have durable top coating that will protect the image and allow you to cleanly wipe off any dirt or spill that get onto the top of your Laptop. If you get your 3Tops laptop skins wet, simply wipe it off. We have tested these under very tough conditions and are confident that they can hold up to normal handling.
7. Can I have a custom designed 3Tops laptop skin?

8. My laptop gets really hot. Will this affect my 3Tops laptop skin?
Your 3Tops laptop skin will not be affected by the heat. Many laptops run extremely hot. The majority of this heat is on the bottom of the laptop and studies have shown heats up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. 3Tops laptop skins are designs for the top of your laptop and are guaranteed to hold up in temperatures up to 140 degrees. Just to give you a sense of how hot that is, according to the National Burn Center, you would receive 2nd degree burns after touching something at 140 degrees for 5 seconds.
9. I have a logo on my laptop, will 3Tops laptop skin cover it?
Yes, it will go over the logo on the top of your laptop. We designed 3Tops laptop skins to lie relatively flatly. You may see a subtle outline of the logo if it extrudes from the top of your laptop but it will look great. We don't trim around the logo but actually designed the product to go over the top of all logos...even the big ole Dell Logo. If you choose the transparent colorful skin, you can see the Logo and a part of the laptop surface. If you choose the opaque colorful skin, the laptop surface will be covered completely.
10. I have an Apple notebook that has a glowing apple, will it shine through 3Tops laptop skin?
Yes, you will still be able to see the apple subtly through the back.
